Here again the assignments for next class (Friday the 13th) expecially for the students that have missed the class.
- Scale: draw your room at 1/8", 1/4" and 1/2" scale on a 18"x24" vellum sheet, based on the measurements taken last week.
- Hand Lettering practice: Write on a 8.5"x11" vellum using two different pencils (at least one H for the lighter guidelines and one B or HB for the actual letters) additional two paragraphs of your choise from last week handout (the architects' bios).
- Read the handouts and Chapters 3, 4 pag. 31-33 of your book.
- Finish drawing our classroom at 1/4" scale started in class.
Regarding the assignment about scale, I've just found an example from last semester done from one of your fellow students.
Take a look at it in terms of overall organization of the drawing. Don't worry about the title block and drawing title (will we go over them this Frinday) but show as many info as you can about the space where you live.
